David versus Goliath

38-year old Eugene Maxwell escaped this accident totally unharmed. A head-on smash sent his 90 V8 through a stone wall and 48 ft (16 meters or a 5-stories building) down into the icy river Teith near Doune, Pertshire. Then the lorry came down, flipped the Land Rover over and came to rest on it's side. Eugene managed to crawl out unharmed, it took three hours to cut the lorry driver free who suffered broken ankles and legs.
As it's a small world Eugene is a friend of Jim Neilson who bought the coastguard car above.
