Patru on the roll This
unlucky 1987 90 Turbo-diesel nicknamed "Patru" belonged
to the french radio station "France Culture" who retraced the
route described in the french novel "Kéraban-le-Tétu" by Jules Verne.
They completed several 1000's of miles in Turkey and surrounding countries without too much problems
but at their return in Greece a moment of inattention on a wet road brought disaster. Patru spun
around, turned over twice and hit some rocks. Luckily no one was hurt and the poor car
returned home a month later on a trailer. |
