Every 6000 miles / 10.000 km or every 6 months

All the jobs of the 3000 miles service. Additionally:
Oil change - look here for my opinion on this.

Spark plug changes (V8's and 4 cylinder petrols)..

Clean engine breather (all except TDi's) and flame trap (on V8's).

Renew breaker points (4-cylinder petrol and some V8's).

Top up carburator piston dampers with engine oil. (non-EFI V8's).

Check ignition timing (petrol and V8's).

Check steering ball joints, all bushes and shock absorbers.

Lubricate Hand brake linkage.

Check bump stops above the axles.

Check front and rear brake linings/pads for wear. Check the discs and drums at the same time..
